Event – Ethics of Unmanned Combat Air Systems, Royal Aeronautical Society in association with RAF Shawbury

On 23rd of July 2013 RAF Shawbury in association with the Royal Aeronautical Society will host a discussion on the Ethics of Unmanned Combat Air Systems.

This is the first of a planned series of Aerospace discussions in the Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Cosford area aimed at young professionals and students.

The event will start at 19.00 (Please arrive 15 mins early to allow time for entry to the station) with a short talk (20-30mins) by Dr David Whetham from the UK Defence Academy to introduce the topic.

There will then be a short break to allow glasses to be refilled and conversations to start.

This will then be followed by an hour or so of questions and answers and general discussion.

Details of interesting event being hosted between the Royal Aeronautical Society and RAF Shawbury on a topical and controversial issue. It is good to see RAeS publically engaging with this debate.
