On 25 April 2012, the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security at the University of Birmingham hosted an afternoon discussion that examined the implication of Iran‘s desire to gain nuclear weapons. One of the panels examined the various military options that are available western powers in response to the situation with Iran. Air Commodore (ret’d) Dr Peter Gray, Senior Research Fellow in Air Power Studies and Director of the Centre for War Studies, delivered a paper on ‘The Effectiveness of Airpower against Iran’. Here is the video of the panel that makes for some interesting listening.
